He has been an integral part of the revamping of Sutherland shopping area with his community approach to improving the area for both businesses and residents alike. He firmly believes that development and change translates to greater progress and a safer area in which residents can live.

In recent years, Shamus and Michael have facilitated the three biggest developments in Sutherland which have greatly improved the way of life for the local community. The Class A shopping precinct, along with the building and development of much-needed apartments in the area, has seen Sutherland evolve into the safe, family-friendly community it is today.
